Brighton’s Moises Caicedo has reportedly ‘agreed on personal terms’ with Premier League club Arsenal, but Chelsea are still looking to hijack the deal.
Caicedo is keen to leave Brighton this summer transfer window.
Arsenal head coach, Mikel Arteta sanctioned a club-record bid in excess of £70million for Caicedo in the January transfer window.
But the deal fell through as Brighton refused to sell the 21-year-old.
Arsenal still want to sign Caicedo ahead of the 2023-2024 season and as reported by Metro UK, the Gunners have now ‘agreed personal terms’ with the Ecuador international.
The North London club still need to negotiate a fee with Brighton, who are hoping to receive at least £80million for Caicedo.
