Abia State Witnesses New Era of Development as Royal Renaissance “The Integrity Group” Hails Gov. Alex Otti, Deputy Speaker Ben Kalu

In a historic gathering, members of Royal Renaissance “The Integrity Group” converged on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, to express their profound gratitude to Governor Alex Otti OFR, and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu CON.

The event, which was a testament to the group’s commitment to acknowledging exemplary leadership, was led by HRH Eze Bobby Aguocha, the Ohuruzo of Umuohuru Kingdom.

Governor Otti’s unwavering dedication to transforming Abia State into a modern-day community through his numerous road projects earned him high praise from the group. “Our Governor is the true Mr. Projects,” HRH Eze Aguocha said. “We are indeed grateful for his efforts in making Abia a road network community.”

The group also commended Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu for his instrumental role in securing appointments for Abia sons into the South East Development Commission (SEDC). Specifically, they praised him for the appointment of an Umuahia son as the Director of Finance in the Commission.

HRH Eze Chiabuotu Emenike, the Secretary of the group and also the Secretary of Umuahia North Traditional Rulers Council, lauded Deputy Speaker Kalu for his resilience in achieving this feat. “Hon. Ben Kalu has taken great strides in recovering what the Igbos lost in the past by making sure SEDC has come to stay,” he said. “We are about to experience an explosion of infrastructural development in the South East like never before.”

HRM Eze P.K. Ukaegbu, the Deputy Chairman of Umuahia North Traditional Rulers Council, also expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his efforts in ensuring the establishment of the South East Development Commission.

Furthermore, HRH Eze Eddie Ibeabuchi, a former Chairman of Umuahia North Traditional Rulers Council and a major stakeholder of Royal Renaissance, thanked Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu for his magnanimity in ensuring the appointment of one of his sons, Rt. Hon. Dr. Stanley Ohajuruka, as the Director of Finance in SEDC.

In his concluding remarks, HRH Eze Onwubuariri, the Chairman of Ibeku Traditional Rulers Council and a staunch member of Royal Renaissance, thanked both Governor Alex Otti and Deputy Speaker Ben Kalu for their individual contributions to the development of Abia State.

The event was attended by prominent members of Royal Renaissance, “The Integrity Group”, and other stakeholders in Abia State.
