A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Abia State and a staunch suporter of the Senator Representing Abia North Senatorial Zone, Chief Chidiebere J. Okoh, has wedded into the constinous and calculated attempt by some politicians to desperage and diminishing the towerng legacies of the distinguished Senator, saying it is a failed attempt in futility.

“I advise Hon. Chief Chiebere Uwagwu and Chief Sir Chima Agbaeze to desist from their recent campaign of blackmail and personal attacks on Senator Orji Uzor Kalu over his third tenure ambition. It is essential to recognize that Senator Kalu has the right to contest for a third term, and this right is backed by law.

“While Senator Kalu’s achievements are notable, it’s crucial to consider the context of his tenure and the changing needs of Abia North. The comparison to Senator Uche Chukwumerije’s three terms may not be directly applicable, given the different circumstances and challenges faced during their respective tenures.

“Rather than focusing on individual legacies, it’s vital to prioritize the needs and aspirations of the people of Abia North. The constituency projects undertaken by Senator Kalu are indeed commendable, but it’s also important to consider the broader development needs of the area and whether more can be done to address pressing issues. There is no doubt that the distinguished senator has the capacity and ability to surpass the precedence he’s already set.

He further submitted that: “Ultimately, the decision on who represents Abia North in the Senate should be made by the people, based on their assessment of the candidates’ qualifications, track record, and vision for the future. Rather than resorting to blackmail and personal attacks, it’s more productive to engage in a constructive debate about the issues that matter most to the people of Abia North.

“Let’s focus on the future and the development of Abia North, rather than getting bogged down in petty squabbles and personal attacks. The people of Abia North deserve a robust and issue-based discussion, not a campaign of blackmail and mudslinging”, he said.

He adviced all those sponsoring such attacks from within and outside the APC and the Zone to desist from such unwholesome act of distraction as there are many tasks ahead of Senator Kalu in his efforts to make Abia North better.

This goes a long way to underscore the poluarity and acceptability of the robust leadership that has been provided by Senantor Orji Uzor Kalu.
