…Says Soludo Who Is Hailing Tinubu Today Will Blame Him After He Leaves Office, as Usual
SPEAKING FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE MOUTH AS A POLITICAL STRATEGY-THE SOLUDO EXAMPLE.
The attention of the Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu Media Office has been drawn to Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s recent comments at The Platform, where he lavished praise on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms.
While Soludo’s remarks may appear as statesmanship on the surface, discerning Nigerians and Ndi Anambra can see through the familiar game: praise those in power today, blame them tomorrow.
This is not new. Governor Soludo used the same strategy during the Obiano administration. When he was seeking Obiano’s endorsement as successor, he declared, “If it’s not broken, why mend it?”
But after Obiano supported and handed over to him, Soludo wasted no time in rubbishing his predecessor, accusing him of failure and leaving behind a broken system.

While speaking on Arise Tv specifically on March 23, 2022, Soludo said this of Obiano
“I inherited over N100billion debt from Obiano, the state economy was in a bad shape“.
He repeated the same act with former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Soludo was appointed into Buhari’s economic advisory team and publicly hailed the administration’s economic direction.
However, after Buhari left office, Soludo now sings a different tune, claiming Tinubu inherited a “damaged economy” from Buhari conveniently forgetting he was part of that economic management team.
She said same about Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, praised her when he needed her help to secure federal appointments, but attacked her thereafter.
No wonder DG World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala said this about Soludo:
“There is definitely an issue of character with Prof. Charles Soludo and his desperate search for power and relevance in Nigeria. Nigerians should therefore beware of so-called intellectuals without character and wisdom because this combination is fatal,”
Now, with Soludo eyes on a second term, Soludo has shifted praise to President Tinubu not out of conviction, but out of political calculation but Ndi Anambra and Nigerians are watching.
As history has shown, Soludo’s praises come with an expiration date. He will turn against President Tinubu the moment it suits his political interest.
Prince Ukachukwu stands for consistency, accountability, and leadership that does not change colour with the political season.
Anambra needs a governor who speaks the truth regardless of who is in power — not one who flatters today and blames tomorrow.
