A prominent stakeholder in Abia State’s development, Chief Dr. Eneka C. Kalu, has expressed unwavering support for Governor Alex Otti’s re-election bid in 2027. The stakeholder, who is also the president of ECK Foundation Worldwide, praised Governor Otti’s leadership, citing significant strides in infrastructure development, governance reforms, and economic growth initiatives. Governor Otti’s commitment to transparency and accountability was also highlighted, noting his administration’s willingness to engage with stakeholders and incorporate feedback into policy decisions.
He noted that Governor Otti’s focus on infrastructure development, including road and urban renewal projects, has had a profound impact on the lives of ordinary Abians, improving access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities.
However, he advised Governor Otti to prioritise job creation, education, and healthcare in the remaining years of his first term, emphasising that these critical sectors require sustained attention and investment to address the state’s development challenges.
Chief Kalu unequivocally endorsed Governor Otti for a second term, citing his exceptional leadership skills and dedication to the welfare of Abia State’s citizens. “Governor Alex Otti has my full support for a second term. I’m thoroughly impressed with his leadership, and I’m convinced he deserves another chance to continue his good work.”
In the same vein, he revealed his intentions to contest for the Abia North Senatorial seat in 2027, leveraging experience gained from empowering Abians through the ECK Foundation. The business mogul and seasoned politician expressed passion for representing Abia North’s interests and driving meaningful development and progress in the zone.
He urged Abians to continue supporting Governor Otti’s efforts and remain engaged in providing feedback, stating, “We should continue to support Governor Otti’s efforts and believe that he will continue to deliver on his campaign promises and even more.” This endorsement serves as a vote of confidence in Governor Otti’s leadership and vision for Abia State.
