A devastating attack by suspected bandits has rocked the Waje community in Kebbi State’s Danko Wasagu Local Government Area, resulting in the deaths of at least 15 farmers and injuring three others.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting a condolence visit from the state’s Deputy Governor, Umar Tafida, representing Governor Nasir Idris.
During the visit, the Deputy Governor expressed sympathy for the victims’ families and announced a donation to support them. He assured the community that the state government would work to address insecurity and ensure farmers’ safety.
