The New Book Insists Tinubu’s 2023 Victory Was Credible, Transparent, and Well-Deserved
A new book titled “Personal Reflection on 2023 Presidential Election: Bola Ahmed Tinubu—A Well-Deserved Victory” provides an in-depth analysis of the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, concluding that Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory was credible, transparent, and well-deserved. Written by John Ulu Jr., a renowned media consultant and author, the book offers an honest and critical analysis of the entire event.
According to the book, Tinubu won the election fairly, with the process that produced him confirmed as credible and transparent by national and international election monitoring groups. The book uses three critical factors to debunk allegations of rigging in favor of Tinubu.
In its analysis, the book categorizes the 18 presidential candidates into two groups. Group 2, comprising 14 candidates, were deemed not to have had a legitimate chance of winning. Group 1, consisting of Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and others, were also unlikely to win due to the “National Sentiment” favoring a Southern candidate after eight years of President Buhari’s leadership.
The book concludes that the 2023 presidential election was essentially a contest between Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi. Based on ten critical points, the book determines that Tinubu outperformed Obi, giving him the edge at the polls. Nigerians chose Tinubu for his dedicated service and sacrifice to the country, democracy, and humanity, as well as his kindness and genuine love for all Nigerians.
The book praises President Tinubu’s people-oriented leadership in his first year and urges all Nigerians to support him for the betterment of the country.
Hon. Alex Ikwechegh, member representing Aba North Federal Constituency, is set to review the book during its launch on November 25, 2024. Ikwechegh’s review is highly anticipated, given his expertise and experience in Nigerian politics.
