The summer 2023 playlist of former US President Barack Obama includes the music of Nigerian artists Burna Boy and Sabi girl Ayra Starr.

Ayra Starr’s “Stability” and Burna Boy’s “Sitting On Top Of The World” were two of the tracks Obama included in his yearly summer reading list and playlist, which he shared on Twitter this morning.

Here are some songs I’ve been listening to this summer that are a mix of old and new like I do every year. I’m eager to learn what I missed, Obama stated.

The playlist, which is available on Spotify, features a wide range of genres, from hip-hop and R&B to rock and pop. Some of the highlights include:
