8,600 beer bottles that were loaded onto a van and transported from Kaduna to Kano State were seized by the Kano State Hisbah Board. Idris Ibrahim, the board's officer in charge of intoxicants, told reporters over the weekend that the alcoholic beverages were taken last Thursday at Kwanar Dangora village, which is located near the Kano-Kaduna road.
